what like 3d but instead of the 3d,shadowing? If you do mean that then stick with 3d just now its easier,in my opinion anyway,and thats what ive been told,and eventually you will get better and better.

well really all you can do is practice, but a simple way to get a shadow is to sketch out your piece/throw and then do the same thing but to the left of the sketch so the sketch is acting as a shadow. then fill the sketch and finnish the piece.

i think its always best to have light coming in from the left so move the shadow to the right

shadow drops are pretty easy after you practice

going left to right always seems better cus everyone reads that way !

thats why its nicer on the eyes !

but str8 down 3d is good too

dont be afraid to experiment with the size of your 3d , i.e changing from letter to letter , in depth of shadow
