They could use their home computers.

Yes, they could, but their most not likely to do it aswell as doing their job on the street etc.

those BORN outlines there are class! nice letters done a good size. Also, I like it when throws look quickly done (as long as they have style).

Out of the photos that have been posted over the last couple of days his are definately my favorite, the majority aren't very good at all.

Noise/Noize/Noiz are accepted

deadline is sunday at midnight at which time voting starts, voting lasts untill tuesday midnight when a winner will be chosen.

Do a sketch with a simple style but with plenty of it, NO BLACK AND WHITE ENTRIES; must have colour.
The hunt begins.

Ghidra, any chance of updating the winners circle and possibly cleaning up the sketch battles forum?

Yeh, I'll update the winners circle. It'll probably happen bit by bit though as I'm kind of busy for the next week.

What do you suggest for clearing up the sketch battle thread? I mean all the threads are previous sketch battle so I don't see any point in deleting them. I could make the current battle a sticky for the week it's relevant so it's always at the top I suppose.

Keepitsolidsteel: Nah, I don't think I can ban people. I would like to know who this aparent grass is though, get my email off metro or something.

As to the IP address blockers I have no idea how useful they are. Where computers are concerned there is a way around everything it seems. My advice is this: never post what you write on the internet. Never post anything that you have painted (obviously it's different if it's just mixed in with a bunch of other things from your area). If you do post flicks of stuff you've done, avoid night time flash photos as they appear more incriminating. Don't post your stuff on any other public source (fotolog etc). Don't put your digital photos on your computer as this will completely fuck you if you are raided (even if you delete them them can still be brought back up). Print you're photos out and give them to someone else look after. Don't keep any sketches, things with tags on them in your house.

That's the best way to stay safe. Up to you what you want to do though.

Possibly. There's a thing on this forum called Groups, and I can create a forum just for one group. But I just can't figure out how to put people into the group... :-/

Once I figure it out, a private pictures forum is a definite possibility, maybe with a public one too for anyone who still wanted.

Make the pictures threads "members only", this would be good for two reasons:

1) From what I've read, you can tell if someone if logging on via a police computer, this means you could deny them access to the bounty of evidence that is the pictures forum.

2) It would encourage people to join the forum. I know people who check the pictures threads but are not members, since they don't post anything its no loss to us if they stop visiting. However, I think the vast majority would be inclined to register, and as we all know, once you've done this, leaving comments and contributing ideas becomes very tempting.

There's a general attitude that this forum is full of schoolyard arguments and toy baitness. Ironically though, many people who hold this view will regularly check the forum, particularly the pictures. If we can get these guys to join, the frequency and general standard of posts will improve.

The wall's not really a proper trackside, but you overlook it from the train, and it doesn;t really fit in another thread I don't think.

Technically if you can see it from the train is it not a trackside?
