I'm no expert (no, honestly) on bikes, and I don't pretend to know what it feels like to ride a fixed gear, but I do know one thing:

Hipsters think these things are the shit. We're not talking about bike enthusiasts who need lighter model. These guys are following a trend. That's why Urban Outfitters have one hanging on the wall.

Just like the guys who need a Mac computer because "you can do so much more on them". When, in reality, all they use it for is checking a couple of social networking sites and cracking one out. I'm not saying that Macs are bad computers; it's the posers and their disingenuous excuses for "needing" one that I don't like.

I ride fixed gear because I like the simplicity, no shitty gears that bang about and the feel of it in general. Its abit ignorant to say all fixedgear riders are vain faggots.

Fixed gear is supposedly more responsive for city riding etc. It's about enjoying riding a bike as much as it is about transport. I don't ride one like, just know a guy who's well into it.

Twitter can 100% fuck off though, as can having to use something like facebook, nothing that email couldn't do, but now nobody uses that shit in a pretty thinly veiled attempt at vanity and attention seeking that outwighs the majority of anything useful or funny on there. Fuck culturing a window into your life on the internet, live it.

Putting the clocks back in winter, what a fucking stupid idea.

Does anyone like this?

Farmers? less than 1% of the population. The cows don't know what time it is, start an hour later, what?

Darkness at 4pm is perverse. End it.
