Newcastle council cancel graffiti projects, legal walls

"There will be some scope for community arts projects, maybe to brighten up a building, but if it is paint spray art that the man in the street would regard as graffiti, it won’t happen."

Well that sucks the root... I'd like to know exactly when they asked "the man in the street" for his views when they decided on this pile of bollocks. There wouldn't have been so many projects proposed if no-one wanted to do them after all.

"the writings on the wall for graffiti job.."
what a brilliant headline, i wonder how long it took the literary genius to come up with that one!
I don't get how people can complain about how unartistic some graffiti can be and then stop these artists from developing into something more than a toy
